Uploads

Hello, when uploading files, please keep in mind that they need to have a license and image category. I notice you were using the text editor's uploader, but I would suggest using Special:Upload instead (the "Upload file" link under "tools" on the navigation bar) as it's easier to fill out the details there. Otherwise, you should at least type the following into the file description:

(For something other than a screenshot, check {{License-reminder}} for other licenses, and for something other than Mario Kart Tour, check Category:MarioWiki images's subcategories until you've found the right one.)

Also, please make sure the image already exists on the wiki before you upload to avoid uploading duplicates. You do that by checking associated articles, character and game galleries, and the image categories. Your uploads of the Toad (Pit Crew) and Maple Treeway map images already exist as File:MKT Toad Pit Crew.jpg and File:MK7 Wii Maple Treeway Minimap.png, which you can find on Gallery:Toad (species) (or Streamliner - the vehicle is actually this, not the Blue Seven) and Maple Treeway. Just search for the correct category by starting with the following groups: Images Audio/video files Company images Film images Game images Merchandise images Publication images System images Television series images Website images Company media files Film media files Game media files Merchandise media files Publication media files System media files Television series media files Website media files When uploading, copy the full title of the category and insert it in square brackets into the summary text box below the {{aboutfile}} template, replacing the {{uncategorized}} template entirely. If you're using the upload function from the text editor, simply add the category link to the description. For example, files related to the game Super Mario World would use: [[Category:Super Mario World images]] or [[Category:Super Mario World media files]] Please consider the above information before uploading more files. Keep in mind that some files can belong to multiple categories. Do not put images into the media files category, or vice versa.
