Hello, MarioSpriters2D. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly categorize the file. It's simple to learn how to do so. Just search for the correct category by starting with the following groups:
When uploading, copy the full title of the category and insert it in square brackets into the summary text box below the {{aboutfile}} template, replacing the {{uncategorized}} template entirely. If you're using the upload function from the text editor, simply add the category link to the description. For example, files related to the game Super Mario World would use: [[Category:Super Mario World images]]or [[Category:Super Mario World media files]] Please consider the above information before uploading more files. Keep in mind that some files can belong to multiple categories. Do not put images into the media files category, or vice versa. If you continue uploading files without categorizing them correctly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing. |
Please remember to replace {{uncategorized}} with a category link as described above instead of only removing the template, and avoid accidentally removing the closing curly brackets "}}" after the "aboutfile" template.
Regarding the images themselves, please don't upload images that have been poorly cropped (and/or upscaled) from screenshots to be used as models. The obvious edge pixels make them look ugly and it also cuts out parts of the enemy/object when not properly done.

You are still forgetting to categorize files. Also, images from games are classified as game screenshots, not 3D renders.

- Ah sorry, I thought the issue was made clear before and I should've made it clear first. I've removed the last warning, but it was for categorising them improperly, not using the wrong categories. The links have been fixed now, but the issue was all of your uploads from the past week initially had
{{Category:Super Mario 3D World Images}}when they're supposed to use square brackets (not curly) and lowercase "i" for "images" as shown in the reminder, which creates the working link.

Models Resource[edit]
I would advise against inserting your name into the "Artist" field or saying this was "by" you, as it makes it look like this was taken by you and taking credit for it when in actuality they're from the Models Resource submitted by various users. You should add the source link in the "Where you found the image" field, and preferably whoever submitted the model. Mario JC 19:42, March 4, 2022 (EST)
