Image categories[edit]

Hello, Lin7650. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly categorize the file. It's simple to learn how to do so. Just search for the correct category by starting with the following groups:
When uploading, copy the full title of the category and insert it in square brackets into the summary text box below the {{aboutfile}} template, replacing the {{uncategorized}} template entirely. If you're using the upload function from the text editor, simply add the category link to the description. For example, files related to the game Super Mario World would use: [[Category:Super Mario World images]]or [[Category:Super Mario World media files]] Please consider the above information before uploading more files. Keep in mind that some files can belong to multiple categories. Do not put images into the media files category, or vice versa. If you continue uploading files without categorizing them correctly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing. |

RE:Voice Claim[edit]
Hi there! It's been so long since that edit, I don't recall where I got that from but I should've added a source back then. Aaron Lundquist is credited in WW: Smooth Moves but I checked and Young Cricket is silent in that game (IMDB says Lundquist is the narrator), so that claim was most likely incorrect, sorry! - "Young Cricket is silent"? Actually, there are sound clips of Young Cricket that are found in the game. Their mostly high-pitch compared to Daymond’s portrayal of him. You can hear him say "Cricket Crush" and "Take that" and stuff, even his howls when you fail a microgame. BTW his va remains unknown.

On adding "Gen. Info" section to Young Cricket article.[edit]
Hello, Lin. Good job on your expansion of Young Cricket to include basic information about him. It might prolly be the time you added the basic info paragraphs (Gen. Info) to other of the Wario characters. 9-Volt, Jimmy, Kat, Ana, the mantis, Dribble, Spitz, Piyouro, Lu-Lu, etc. might use some basic information expansions. Such as
- Physical appearance
- Personality
- Powers and abilities
- Relationships

RE: WarioWare: Move It! logo[edit]
I would prefer not, since fan-made transparency for images like these are generally discouraged and can result in bad transparency with rough edge pixels around the artwork (as is the case here). I'd wait for the official image or just crop the video without trimming the background; it's possible Nintendo released it as part of a press release. Mario JC 13:14, June 21, 2023 (EDT)
- You can add it as a thumbnail image in the microgame section, or in a separate gallery section underneath since there will likely be more images. Also, files don't use categories like "WarioWare series"; those are for articles, while images should use image categories based on the game they're from ("WarioWare: Move It! images").

RE: Vandals[edit]
It's already obvious they're the same user jumping between different IP addresses, and the main reason for the block is for vandalism so there's really no need to go back and change the reason, especially now that it's almost expired. Hiding edits is out of safety for more extreme edits like inappropriate content or spam, not misleading edits. Mario JC 10:08, August 2, 2023 (EDT)
