Grammar

Please try to avoid combining sentences with "(comma) also"; that's known as a comma splice and is considered poor grammar (e.g. "3D Land returns, also Boom Boom and Pom Pom appear as a spirit.") In cases like this, you should start a new sentence (e.g. "3D Land returns. Also, Boom Boom and Pom Pom appear as a spirit.") Conversely, avoid splitting related phrases into separate sentences. "Making their first 3D appearance in the Mario franchise." is not a complete sentence by itself as "making" is used to connect to the previous sentence, so it should be preceded with a comma instead of a period, or rewritten as a standalone sentence: "They make their first 3D appearance in the Mario franchise." Hello, Jrpierre123! Thanks for your contributions. When writing titles for media like games, films, TV shows, and publications, please remember to italicize them. This is done by placing two straight apostrophes (not quotation marks or curly apostrophes) on both sides of the title, or clicking on the I icon above the text box and typing out the title. For example, typing out ''[[Super Mario Bros.]]'' generates Super Mario Bros.
