Titles

Per MarioWiki:Manual of Style#Italicizing titles, please remember to italicise game titles when naming them (e.g. Super Mario Bros. 2 should be formatted as Super Mario Bros. 2). They should also be written in full, never abbreviated like SMB2. Mario JC 05:45, February 10, 2021 (EST)

Edit warring

Hello, it has come to my attention that you have been edit warring repeatedly with other editors, first on the Super Mario World article, but you have been edit warring with three other editors in the Sonic the Hedgehog article. If you desire to dispute edits after a reversion, do not add back the edits twice or more times; instead, bring up the topic at discussion either with the disputing editors or with the article's talk page.

As for the Sonic the Hedgehog article, dressing up events such as the appearance of two characters in a crossover series as a "symbolic" moment is indeed writing we do not encourage in our wiki, as per our good writing policy. Entries need to be written as objectively as possible, and this excludes usage of adjectives of strongly subjective connotation such as "symbolic" to describe the history of the franchise. The adjective "symbolic" is highly subjective, carries positive connotation, and it requires more explanation to what exactly the event is symbolizing. It is flowery writing and while it is not a radical statement of opinion, there is subjectivity to it. The article before was just as fine as it was, as it explained events in a less biased manner.
