'''Lena''' is a character that appears in the [[Super Mario Bros. (film)|''Super Mario Bros.'']] film. She is [[President Koopa]]'s assistant and love interest, portrayed by [[Fiona Shaw]].

Early in the movie, Lena is introduced as Koopa's significant other and loyal assistant residing in [[Koopa's Tower]]. Upon [[Princess Daisy (film)|Daisy]] being taken into [[Koopa's Tower]] by [[Iggy (film character)|Iggy]] and [[Spike (film character)|Spike]], she begins to grow jealousy and resentment, fearing that Koopa is looking to replace her with Daisy. Nevertheless, she follows Koopa's pursuits of obtaining the [[meteorite piece]] to merge the dimensions. She removes Daisy from the Goomba Barracks, and takes her to her own personal room up on Koopa's Tower. There, she informs Daisy that [[Daisy's mother]] is dead and that Koopa needs Daisy to personally to merge the dimensions herself. She expresses that Koopa believes only she is capable of doing it successfully, but implies she is skeptical of this. Lena is alerted by the [[Hat Check Girl]] at the [[Boom Boom Bar]] that Mario and Luigi are at the bar, and she arrives with a group of [[Goomba (film species)|Goombas]]. Spike and Iggy are arrested by the Goombas, and after Mario and Luigi lose the meteorite piece in their attempts to thwart the Goombas, she successfully picks it up.

Lena attempts to bring the meteorite piece to Koopa, who is angry and distracted, and blows her off. Upset by this, she decides to carry out the mission without Koopa, with intentions to invade [[Earth]] for herself. She attempts to kill Daisy, but is thwarted by the royal pet, [[Yoshi (film character)|Yoshi]]. Daisy runs away as Yoshi pulls Lena towards him with his tongue, and she stabs Yoshi with a knife and follows after Daisy. Koopa learns that Lena secretly made off with the meteorite, and with his orders, [[Sergeant Simon]] arrests Lena and confiscates the piece. Sergeant Simon turns over the meteorite piece to Koopa.

During Koopa's battle with [[Mario (film character)|Mario]], Koopa loses the meteorite piece that Lena secretly grabs it while leaning over a railing. The railing gives away and she falls onto wiring below, which electrocutes her. She survives the electrocution, but it affects her hair, spiking it up and giving her a gray streak. A severely burnt Lena laughs maniacally, having successfully confiscated the meteorite piece and runs into the meteorite chamber to merge the dimensions. Daisy and [[Luigi (film character)|Luigi]] run after her and warn her not to. She inserts the meteorite into the meteorite chamber and the two dimensions of [[Dinohattan]] and [[Earth]] begin to merge. The act of this creates a massive power surge that vaporizes Lena, with the blast shooting her skeletal remains into a wall. The skeleton becomes embedded into the meteorite chamber's cavern wall, and Daisy realizes that Koopa was right; only Daisy herself can withstand the force of the meteorite.
