Kongā are monkey robots resembling Ukikis that appear in Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis. They act similarly to Thwomps, falling from ceilings and squishing anything below before rising back to the closest ceiling above them. Like this game's Thwomps, they shake from side to side while making vocalizations as a warning that they are about to drop. However, Kongā move automatically, rather than waiting for a Mini to approach. Additionally, Kongā rise more slowly than Thwomps, but fall at an extremely fast speed.

Kongā also act as rectangular platforms, which Minis can ride on. However, unlike Moving Platforms, Kongā do not stop at certain points; the Mini must get off before it is flattened when the Kongā reaches a ceiling. Kongā cannot be defeated by any means, including the use of hammers or a Fire Flower.
