Give Me a Brake is the Item mini-game in Western Land in Mario Party 2. It involves the player braking the circling train with six trailers carrying an item or Baby Bowser. It is a game of getting timing right so the player can get the item he or she desires.
It is also an 8-player mini-game in Mario Party 7. In this incarnation, all players ride scooters down a hill and try to brake the scooter as close as possible to the edge. If the player brakes too late, he or she will fall into the mud below and be disqualified. The hill gets slippery in rainy weather, and even more so in snowy weather, so players should adjust their braking accordingly. The player closest to the edge without falling off wins for his or her team.
