Froggy is a small frog from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, and the companion of Big the Cat, from whom he is often separated by the plot, such as being possessed by Chaos's tail in Sonic Adventure and being kidnapped by Metal Sonic in Sonic Heroes. Unlike most animal characters in the franchise, he has a realistic appearance and is portrayed simply as a normal frog.
History[edit]
Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games[edit]
Froggy appears in the story mode of the Nintendo 3DS version of Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games, having traveled alongside Big to London to watch the Olympic Games. During the To the Ruins! mission, it is revealed Big and Froggy got separated before the games, but he is found by Big at the Stonehenge. The two then return to London to watch the games.
In this appearance, Froggy is designed with Chaos's tail from Sonic Adventure, despite usually lacking it.
