In Super Mario World the Butter Bridge is a large bridge which connects the top of the Vanilla Dome and Cookie Mountain. With the smaller Cheese Bridge, it makes up part of the Twin Bridges.
There are only two levels on the bridge, but they can be very difficult if the player doesn't have a Magic Cape. In the first level, there are several pairs of pillars, somewhat similar to the seesaw platforms from Super Mario Bros., insofar as when Mario is standing on the first pillar, it will go down slowly while the second one will grow and become taller. The automatic screen scrolling makes this level even harder. In the second level, numerous Super Koopas and shell-kicking Beach Koopas try to block Mario's path.
