They are inclined vines that stretch over long distances and function like {{wp|zip line}}s, as their name indicates. They are first seen in [[Zip-Line Shrine]], but they are also common in [[Wing Ding]].

The [[Kong]]s can grip and quickly slide along a Zip-Line Vine over chasms and obstacles. The characters can leave the vine at any time by [[jump]]ing or simply dropping from it. By pressing the [[Ground Pound]] button, players can make the Kongs spin around the vine. This move can be performed to ring rows of [[Bell (Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze)|bells]] and trigger a certain occurrence, such as the appearance of items or another Zip-Line Vine, or the destruction of some incoming obstacles.
