:I personally hate tabber and I think it's gimmicky. I'd rather just pick an image and cover the rest of the variations in the article body. Regardless of my feelings, I added it after the result of a democratic [[Template talk:Minigame infobox#Image in the infobox|proposal]] (this isn't a dictatorship). Regarding the JavaScript point: I can have the tabber fail in one of two ways: (1) only show the first image, or (2) show all the images. #1 is good if the additional images can be considered ''supplemental'' and hiding them isn't going to conceal important stuff from the user (for example, if those images also appear elsewhere in the article). #2 can make the infobox look [https://i.imgur.com/8My74bu.png kinda silly], but I agree that it makes more sense to use it if the images don't appear anywhere else in the articles so we don't degrade what those users are seeing.
