In early 2010 (sometime around New Year's), I joined. I became a typical n00b, not caring about editing and spamming my userpage. I was ''really'' immature. But I started to edit more and eventually I edited quite a bit (more than I should have, to be honest.) Before I quit, I was one of the top 50 contributors to the site, according to the contribution score page. |

I got banned for a month; yet I continued to be a dick. I stopped editing the wiki around July and only used the forums. Naturally, no one really liked me as I was a big douche. But I was young and an idiot so I didn't realize. I remember there being a huge thread on myself in a forum section I couldn't access at the time. When I read it, I was confused. Now I'm not. The community didn't like me because of first impressions. I'll always remember that in real life. First impressions are huge. I was immature and a dick, and it hurt my reputation. |
