The title of this article is conjectural; an official name for the article's subject has not been found, so it has been given a fitting title by the editors. If an official name is found, then the article should be moved to its appropriate title.

A Spiked Crusher is a large, spiked orb with a surly face; it bears a small resemblance to a circular Thwomp.

A Spiked Crusher first appeared in Paper Mario inside Mt. Lavalava, where one, after having its path cleared by Mario and his Ultra Hammer, would roll haphazardly towards Mario. Mario would need to use Bow's ability to make himself invisible to avoid the rolling Spiked Crusher.

Unfortunately, the Spiked Crusher would continue to roll and crush the nearby Kolorado, injuring him incredibly; the Spiked Crusher would then blast it's way through a nearby wall, clkearing Mario's path before immbedding itself in a wall.

A second Spiked Crusher would appear to try and crush Mario deeper in Mt. Lavalava inside a corridor; Mario would need to use Bow's powers to avoid the Spiked Crusher.

Several Spiked Crushers appeared in a recent trailer for Super Paper Mario in a desert-like area. This game reveals that Spiked Crushers are actually rather thin and composed of three layers of a spiked, cardboard-like substance.
