There were three different Brazilian Portuguese dubs. *The Koopa Kids were known by different names in the series, having new names that reflected their given personalities, and some aspects of their designs deviated slightly from their game artwork.

*The character designs for the four heroes and Koopa were retained from ''The Super Mario Bros.
