Template

This template has 5 variables:

 • 1 is the subject, included in the old version. Basically the description, can be a link to what it is, or a sentence or two.
 • 2 is the source, sometimes an external link
 • 3 is the artist, if you know who made it (maybe yourself)
 • 4 is "edited". If the image has been altered from the original, describe the modifications.
 • 5 is "other versions". If there is another image on the same subject, try to link to it using :Image:File.ext.

To use some but not all of these, use, e.g, something like this:

Template:License redirects here. So, using license at the start also works, though this truly is not a license. This template is optional for image summaries, but works very well as an image summary and is encouraged to be used, even in part.
