[[User:Shroobario|Shroobario]] has added the translated story which has been recently posted in some forums. But he directly adopted the text, and didn't give any source. Did the translator gave his permission? If not, an own summary of the translation should be written. Or is Shroobario himself the translator? But then he surely wouldn't also include that "translator" note. What to do now? --[[User:Grandy02|Grandy02]] 04:18, 13 June 2008 (EDT)

I'd make my own version, since I was tranlating a portuguese version I found in Wii Brasil, but than I found an version that's already in english. I though there was no promblem because tons of notices websites use that, and don't ask permission, os ya. {{User:Shroobario/sig}}
==Links==
When this game comes out we need to start making articles for the main charcters and places in the game, just saying i know everyone probably knows this i was just saying this because i thought about making the links now but there would be to many red links lol. Articles like<br>
*<strike>[[Shay King]]
*[[Queen Melfull]]
*[[Melfull subjects]]
*[[Deldel Purse]]</strike> (done)
<br>'''UPDATE''': They have articles now but they need some editing :/ lol.{{user:theused/sig}}
::Shouldn't we wait until we have their English Names? Or are those for certain their English names? [[User:Goomb-omb|Goomb-omb]] 13:19, 19 June 2008 (EDT)
:::There already was an article for Rosalina months before ''Galaxy'' came out, then by her Japanese name Rosetta. I see no problem for making articles about those characters. Independent of the language, they have official names. --[[User:Grandy02|Grandy02]] 13:27, 19 June 2008 (EDT)

==Shake It!==
It's being called Wario Land: Shake It! now. It's being released on 9.29.08. I found this out on The Mushroom Kingdom.
{{User:Mariofan132/sig}}
: According to ONM, its now Wario Land: The Shake Dimension. I prefered Wario Land Shake. :/
::Wario Land:The Shake Dimenssion is its name in Europe and austrailia. Anyway, TMK is a reliable source of info. So... shall the page be moved?[[User:GreenKoopa|GreenKoopa]] - [[User talk:GreenKoopa|Comments or questions?]]
:::I'd say yes, since we use the American titles because of consistency, and TMK is indeed a reliable source. --[[User:Grandy02|Grandy02]] 10:36, 25 June 2008 (EDT)
== Editing ==
[[User:Realar]]
<nowiki>I've been trying to update the Wario Land: Shake It! page, though I'm having trouble with citations and image size, I'm a new editor, is my direction correct?</nowiki>
:It's quite fine for being new here. You add image sizes like this:
<pre>[[Image:SSBB-Peach Luigi Taunt.jpg|200px]]</pre>
:The |200px part is important. It means that the image is scaled to 200 pixels width. (and height is automatically adjusted)
:For references maybe [[MarioWiki:Citations|this page]] can help you. - {{User:Cobold/sig}} 17:08, 25 June 2008 (EDT)
== New JAP Boxart (with Character Artwork) ==
A new Japanese boxart has been published: [http://gonintendo.com/wp-content/photos/61vTpEMfFWL._SS400_.jpg Click]. It shows many characters and species from the game, including main ones like Captain Maple Syrup, Shay King, Queen Melfull and Melfull Subject.

Still in low resolution, but now we know at least how they look in full view. --[[User:Grandy02|Grandy02]] 05:31, 2 July 2008 (EDT)
== Official Site and Videos are up ==
As many surely have noticed already, the official Japanese site for the game is now online:
http://www.nintendo.co.jp/wii/rwlj/character/index.html
It features the whole animated prologue of the game and a gameplay video. These videos are also available on YouTube:
*[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UfPxl9AA0HY Prologue] (with English subtitles!)
*[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=agS4QR_FitI Gameplay video]
--[[User:Grandy02|Grandy02]] 11:05, 4 July 2008 (EDT)
The music in the background of the gameplay video is the same as the victory music of Wario in [[Super Smash Brothers Brawl]]. Nintendo was most likely working on this game before Brawl even was finished.

Yeah!! shake it!!  {{User:Birdoshi/sig}}
A new footage has been added some time ago, with spoken introductions in Japanese:<br />
http://www.nintendo.co.jp/wii/rwlj/intro/index.html . It shows much more content, including moves and bosses. --[[User:Grandy02|Grandy02]] 08:34, 11 July 2008 (EDT)
I saw the footage a little while ago and I ''discoverd'' something.
Since Wario can only return to his own world with help of the Melfull Subjects, you must find one in every level. When you found a Melfull Subject, it will show you the location you must get to with a arrow. Get to this location IN TIME LIMIT. Similar with the Frog Switch in Wario Land 4.
{{User:Arend/Sig}}
:You are right, I didn't notice the time limit before, thanks for your regard! The game is obviously heavily influenced by its precursor, so it is likely that there's an equivalent of the Frog Switch, too. Even the game's logos are directly based on the respective logos of ''Wario Land 4/Advance''. --[[User:Grandy02|Grandy02]] 12:11, 11 July 2008 (EDT)
But there are differences. Bosses doesn't have time limit unlike Wario Land 4. {{User:Arend/Sig}}

== New Videos ==
Four new videos are up:
http://www.nintendo.co.jp/wii/rwlj/game/index.html
They show:
*Level select.
*A gameplay footage similar to the ones we already saw.
*Wario frees a Merelda/Melfull Subject from its cage. A timer starts and the little being shows Wario with an arrow how to get out of the level. As Arend already pointed out, somewhat similar to the Frog Switch in Wario Land 4.
*A shop where you can buy something, and Captain Maple Syrup seems to be the shop keeper. Are Wario and Syrup friends now?

== The Shake Dimension ==
I think this is the better of the three titles, prehaps it could be used as the title of the page instead of Shake It! ? [[User:Dancingcyberman|DC]] 16:16, 24 July 2008 (EDT)
:Sorry, but which title is better doesn't count. Because of consistency, we generally use the American game titles (in case that the game has an US release, of course). --[[User:Grandy02|Grandy02]] 10:55, 25 July 2008 (EDT)
== IGN Hands-on ==
We could use [http://uk.wii.ign.com/articles/894/894191p1.html IGN's hands-on] of the full Japanese version to help this article as long as nobody has the game here. - {{User:Cobold/sig}} 11:48, 29 July 2008 (EDT)
==Australian Title==
The game is listed as Wario Land: Shake Dimension on the Australian Nintendo website. Should it be added? - [[User:Jellyfloater|Jellyfloater]]
: It's actually not necessary; Australian titles usually get the same treatment as Nintendo of Europe's since they both fall under PAL territory. --[[User:MeritC|M. C. - &quot;Mario Gals&quot; Enthusiast!]] 10:05, 7 August 2008 (EDT)

== Detailed Interview with the Developers ==
Nintendo of Europe's site offers a detailed interview with the developers. It reveals a lot of development details which could be referred to in the article. The text is a translation of the Japanese-language interview from the Nintendo Online Magazine.

== External Links ==
There is an unofficial (at least I think it is) site linked under External Links, "[http://wario-land-shake-it.blogspot.com/ Wario Land: Shake It! Countdown]". The site is obviously outdated (not updated since July 10th and it still says "pre-order") and doesn't tell more than the Wiki and the official sites already do. So is that link needed? --[[User:Grandy02|Grandy02]] 10:59, 24 December 2008 (EST)
:No. {{User:Daniel Webster/Miniature}} 11:18, 24 December 2008 (EST)
== An article on the Subwarine Defence Wall Boss? ==
Since no one seems to have made one for the mini boss that summons enemies and guards the caged Merfle at the end of this game's water levels, should I make one?
And if so, what should the page actually be called?  Because I don't think the game ever names the defence system/obstacle you have to destroy at the end of these levels.
If you need to know what I mean, see the end of [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RfmCEzeJJI0 this video]], at about 5 minutes 40 seconds in.
[[User:Cheat-master30]]
:It's an unique enemy, so go for it. Give it plainly descriptive name ("Underwater Defense Wall" or something) and tag it with the <nowiki>{{conjecture}}</nowiki> tag. --[[User:Glowsquid|Glowsquid]] ([[User talk:Glowsquid|talk]]) 21:42, 5 April 2014 (EDT)
:: Done.  [[Underwater Defence Wall]]. Now all I need is to find a picture or something.[[User:Cheat-master30]]
== Chortlebot Challenge Music ==
Just a quick heads up. While the music for this boss does sort of resemble the Wonky Circus song from Wario Land Shake It, it turns out that it's not actually a remix.
I know this because I've been speaking to the game's composer (Tomoya Tomita) for an upcoming interview on Gaming Reinvented, and he said in a related message that no, the song wasn't based on the Wario World version.
[[User:Cheat-master30]]
:The resemblance is vague anyway. I mean, they're both waltz-sounding and have a circus tone. -- {{User:Super Radio/Sig}}
== Missing article - sea urchin ==
I don't know where to formally request this stuff so I'm doing it here. I just realised the sea urchin bomb in the subwarine levels doesn't have an article, with no name or image either. I wouldn't know where to get that information so I'm asking someone to look into it please. Also I've been told the flame enemy that turns wario into flaming wario is called flimflam and technically counts as an enemy so theres that too. [[User:Pallukun|Pallukun]] ([[User talk:Pallukun|talk]]) 07:17, July 28, 2020 (EDT)
:Yes, pages 68 and 69 (regarding Stonetooth Cave) and pages 202 and 203 (regarding Frigid Fields) of the Prima guide, the levels that the wiki says Flaming Wario appears in, refer to [[Flimflam]]s. The urchin bombs are referred to as (singular/plural) [[Grunchin]] on pages 46 and 48 (regarding Wavy Waters) and pages 111 and 113 (regarding Creep Blue Sea).
