A lot of that is just baseless speculation. Heck, we don't even know which it is. But since his name is Baby '''Donkey Kong''', we just state it's the baby version of the current [[Donkey Kong]]. Is this the baby form of Cranky Kong or Donkey kong? When Mario was an adult Donkey kong was a baby so it has to be Cranky Kong. But I can't imagine that this ape who was a good friend of mario would kidnap mario's girlfriend oO

A lot of that is just baseless speculation. Heck, we don't even know which it is. But since his name is Baby Donkey Kong, we just state it's the baby version of the current Donkey Kong.
