Pokémon Change is a move used by the Pokémon Trainer in the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It will be his Down special move. Once used, the Pokémon Trainer will return his current Pokémon, and send out another one. He starts off with Squirtle in the beginning of the battle. When he uses Pokémon Change for the first time in battle, he switches his Squirtle with Ivysaur. If he uses it again, he will send out Charizard. Afterwards, Squirtle re-enters the battle, and the queue starts over again. This attack has many more strategy options, as players can now switch between three characters. This is similar to Zelda's and Sheik's Transform move. Like Transform, each Pokémon shares the same HP, and it is bad to switch out too often, or not often enough.
