Mario Quiz Cards

Mario Quiz Cards are a series of informational fact cards licensed by Nintendo and published by Atlas Editions in the mid 1990s. They follow a specific format that usually features an illustration of a Mario series character, such as a Shy Guy or Princess Peach with a word bubble that asks a multiple choice question. An illustration that usually features Mario or Luigi, and is related to the question is displayed below. The answer is then revealed on the back along with a detailed explanation accompanied either by a photograph or an illustration. The cards cover a wide variety of topics, including science, history, astronomy, and geography. They also sometimes reveal information about the characters that is not otherwise revealed in games, such as Peach's blood type.
