Template:Levelbox Malatone Formula:X Meets the Minions is a level in Plack Beach in the Bowser Jr.'s Journey mode of Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey, and is the introductory of Malatone-infected enemy troops.
Overview
Bowser Jr. and Kamek find two Goombas that seemed normal, but when Kamek tries to talk to them, it turns out they were infected with the Malatone the same way Morton was. Meanwhile, back at Bowser's Castle, Kaley and Dieter were spreading the Malatone all across the Mushroom Kingdom. Back at the beach, the two Malatone-infected Goombas attack Bowser Jr. and Kamek, initiating a battle. The level has three battles. The first battle has four Goombas, with one of them being infected with Malatone Formula:X, three Fire Bros, and a Goomba first officer and captain. The second battle has five Goombas, two Spinies, and a Goomba first officer and captain. The third and final battle has two Goombas, two Spinies, a Malatone-infected Fly Guy, and a Malatone-infected Goomba as the captain. After the battle, Bowser Jr. asks Kamek if he remembered his princely promise. Kamek tries to think, but Bowser cuts off by telling him about his promise he had made to save Bowser's minions. Kamek tells him that he remembered about the promise. Bowser Jr. makes Kamek his witness by having him watch as he desperately makes his promise to him.
