Like Likes are gelatinous tube creatures that Mario and the others encounter in Super Smash Bros.. In Adventure Mode, they can be found in Hyrule Castle along with Octoroks and Redeads. If a character comes in contact with them, they will be swallowed whole, causing ten damage immediately. The Like Like will continue to do damage to the character until he or she can break free.
According to the Super Smash Bros. Melee trophy, they can swallow Link's shield whole, leaving the Hylian defenseless.
