In the episode "The Legend of the Crystal Coconut", Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong went to Inka Dinka Doo's Temple to ask him about the secrets of the Crystal Coconut. He gives them the ominous message, "To learn, you must give up everything." Donkey Kong interprets this wrong, and ends up giving the Crystal Coconut to King. K. Rool in order to learn about it. Later in the episode, Diddy and Cranky get the Coconut back, and Diddy takes it to Inka Dinka Doo's Temple to hide it. When Skurvy, Green Kroc, and Kutlass corner the Kongs in the temple, Diddy runs away with the Coconut, drawing away Kutlass and Green Croc. At the end of the episode, Donkey Kong tells Inka Dinka Doo, "I will be back, you can count on it," The statue simply responds "Whatever."

Inka seems to have a bit of an unknown personality as well, because in the episode Watch the Skies he shows amusement towards Donkey Kong saying he should tell them his secret origins, turning to his smiling face and saying Donkey Kong would share his secret with everyone.  He also seemed to be loosening up his previously strict privacy, as all the Kongs held Diddy's surprise birthday party in his temple, and he said, "Happy Inka Dinka Birthday!"

In Four Weddings and a Coconut, after mistakingly asking Candy to marry him, Donkey goes to Inka Dinko Doo to ask for his permission, for no future ruler can get married without his permission.  As usual, he doesn't get a straight answer, and when he goes back to ask again he winds up trapped in a maze of obstacles and deadly booby traps for nearly twenty four hours.  Finally he gets through, reaching the inner sanctum and finding a wedding ring, showing that Inka approves of the marriage.  With a smile and a congratulation, Inka quickly ejects Donkey Kong from the temple. (Ironically, after all that, Donkey Kong ends up not getting married after all.)

Another example of Inka Dinka Doo's loosening up was his agreeing to an election for future ruler of Kongo Bongo, even though in the past he'd been clear about wanting Donkey Kong as ruler. Perhaps he just had a lot of confidence in him.
