Hammer Bro being Immobilized.

Immobilized is a status ailment in the Paper Mario series.

In first Paper Mario, Immobilized is a common status effect. It could be inflicted by Stop Watch, Time Out and other items and attacks. When being inflicted, enemies can't move for several turns. Some enemies are very immune to this status effect, so it could not work.

Then this status effect reappeared in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. This time it could be inflicted only with Stop Watch and Clock Out, and it could inflict either enemies, audience and even Mario and his partner. If some enemies are carrying Stop Watch, it's better to defeat them fast, otherwise you'll put yourself into serious danger.
