Hammer Throw (Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games for Wii): Difference between revisions

This events starts with the player's character being announced, before showing the player the hammer. The player must swing the remote from up to start or wait for it to start automatically. The player then needs to swing the Wii remote around to gain speed. After enough swings, the player needs to hit {{button|wii|B}} to throw and score. Failure or being too early or too late results in a foul and leads to an xed rectangle and no meters. However, if the player does it with perfect timing, they can perform a roar of triumph to get a little bit more distance by shaking the Wii Remote up and down. The announcer then reveals the player's place. If multiple people are playing, it goes to the next person. If there are multiple tries, it goes through the list again, but without a special character announcement. Instead, it will say, the characters name and "Beginning play", where the player needs to hit {{button|wii|A}} to do the appeal. At the end, the farthest distance is taken for their score.
