It transports [[Diddy Kong|Diddy]] and [[Dixie Kong|Dixie]] to a previously visited world or location. It is the direct successor of [[Funky's Flights]] from ''[[Donkey Kong Country]]'', but with a {{wp|Roman numeral}} (II) added at the end.

Funky's Flights II takes place on a giant surfboard. There is a wooden shack in the corner with antennas on its roof and a few objects lying outside of it, such as a tire and a beach ball. The Jumbo Barrel is in the background, toppled over behind the "FUNKY flights" sign. Funky's surfboard from ''Donkey Kong Country'' is also lying on top of the shack. To reflect how Funky's Flights II takes place on a surfboard, the screen slowly moves up and down.
