The '''Fruit Cup''' is a [[cup]] that appears in ''[[Mario Kart 8 Deluxe]]'' as part of the [[Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass|Booster Course Pass]] DLC. It is the first of two cups in the fourth wave of the DLC, being released alongside the [[Boomerang Cup]], the seventh cup of the pass overall, and the nineteenth cup of the game overall. It features three [[classic course]]s and a [[new course]] called [[Yoshi's Island (race course)|Yoshi's Island]], which is heavily based on ''[[Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island]]'', making it the second cup in the pass to feature a new course, after the [[Propeller Cup]]. The emblem of the cup is a [[Fruit (Yoshi food)|Yoshi fruit]], making the Fruit Cup one of the two cups in ''Mario Kart 8 Deluxe'' to have some kind of [[Yoshi]] item and its emblem, alongside the [[Egg Cup]].
