A Dark Being is an Enemy in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It is an evil double copied from a fallen character's trophy. Dark Beings are formed when Shadow Bugs "consume" a fallen charcter's trophy.
Dark Beings are also the evil clones found in The Great Maze. There is one of these clones for each chracter in the game (excluding Toon Link, Wolf, Sonic and Jigglypuff). Thses Beings were supposably formed from the effects of being in trophy form when in Subspace. All the charcters in the game (excluding the charcters named earlier of course) were once tropies, when Tabuu used his Off Wings.
