 At the beginning of the third part, Donkey and Diddy together with their Animal Buddy [[Enguarde the Swordfish]] can be seen underwater. A [[Croctopus]] attacks them, gets driven away however by some [[Squidge]]s. There are also some [[Chomps]] and [[Clambo]]s appearing, all trying to be the only one to attack the Kongs. In their dispute, they forget about the Kongs, who use this chance to throw a [[TNT Barrel]] at the enemies. When exploding, it pushes Donkey, Diddy and Enguarde right out of the water. From the sky, they can see King K. Rool's ship, the [[Gangplank Galleon]], and when falling down, they land right on the ship.
-King K. Rool himself, along with some other Kremlings, is watching the Kongs. Donkey demands his Bananas from K. Rool, who seems to be surprised ("a talking monkey wearing a tie?"). He takes off his crown and throws it at the Kongs, who avoid it and start running towards their enemy. Donkey is using his rolling move again, with Diddy jumping onto King K. Rool's face. Thus they manage to defeat him and finally to get their Bananas back.
