Cypher
Cypher is an attack that only Solid Snake can use, which will be used in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It will be his Up Special Move. This attack is definetely a very unique move, even for the Metal Gear series. When used, Solid Snake will pull out his flying spy camera, the Cypher, and will hover upwards a far distance. Doing this, he will be able to recover from a fall, in case he is knocked off the stage. However, Snake cannot fly for very long, so the move will stop quickly. It is unknown if the attack does damage or not.

An unmanned aerial surveillance vehicle used by the U.S. Army. It uses a fan in the center of its body to hover and a camera on its upper fuselage to monitor from the skies. It has a number of models, including the armed Gun Cypher and the remodeled Cypher II. Its small size and continuous flight ability make it extremely effective in guarding against intruders.
