In the first chapter of the manga, directly based on "Bad Hair Day", K. Rool uses the Candy Clone to shave DK's hair and make him weak. The main differences are that he deploys the robot right after DK and Diddy stopped the Kritter troops from assaulting Cranky's Cabin and that the clone shaves DK's hair with an electric shaver in its mouth, then walks off the walkway, falling down the trees and getting destroyed. Like in the cartoon, Donkey Kong is completely oblivious of the Candy Clone's robotic nature, even when Diddy directly points it out.
In the first chapter of the manga, directly based on "Bad Hair Day", K. Rool uses the Candy Clone to shave DK's hair and make him weak. Beside looking more robotic than its animated counterpart, the main differences are that he deploys the robot right after DK and Diddy stopped the Kritter troops from assaulting Cranky's Cabin and that the clone shaves DK's hair with an electric shaver in its mouth, then walks off the walkway, falling down the trees and getting destroyed. Like in the cartoon, Donkey Kong is completely oblivious of the Candy Clone's robotic nature, even when Diddy directly points it out and even after the very unusual shave.
