| '''BP''' stands for '''Badge Points''', a stat point used in ''[[Paper Mario]]'' and ''[[Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door]]''. In both games, [[Badges]] are special items that [[Mario]] can equip to give him new abilities. Each Badge requires a certain amount of BP to equip, which is considered "used up" when the Badge is equipped. Badges can be shuffled around at any time outside of battle to free up BP for use on other Badges. Mario can also choose to increase his maximum BP by 3 points every time he [[Level Up|levels up]].
