This version of Rainbow Road returns as the fourth and last course of the Moon Cup in the Booster Course Pass DLC for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. It is based on its appearance in Mario Kart Tour, albeit with a graphical overhaul, giving the course a neon aesthetic, and boost rings have been added on top of the Dash Panels on the Saturn-like planet’s rings. Also, the boost rings resemble the ones in N64. Some of the star gates the player drives through are now silver instead of gold. The rainbow arch on the start-and-finish truss is now a complete circle. The rails on the race track are now formed by the stars from N64. The planets throughout the course further resemble real life planets, such as Neptune and Jupiter. The moon section is now in anti-gravity.<ref>Nintendo of America (November 21, 2022).
