He completley banishes him.Dixie Kong , who is very sad she lost her pet lobster Thermie, finds Klump sad and lonely. She decides to take Klump in and he lives with the apes. Things do not work out. He constantly falls off the tree. When he tries to fix Cranky's barrels, he sends him flying when the planks fly up. When he tries to fix DK's elevator, he busts it and sends him bouncing up and down. Finally, Kulmp overhears the apes talking that it is not working out and are to tell him in the morning to leave. Klump overhears. He does not fall off the tree this time, but little good does it does him now. He tells Dixie he does not belong, he is a lizard, and she says she never should have trusted a lizard. Dixie is sad and lonely and in distress all over again. Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong overhear, and are a little sad, but are slightly relieved they were spared of telling Dixie. King K. Rool finds Klump and has him trick Dixie to get the coconut. The reinstated General Klump tips off to Dixie false information that K. Rool and his Toadies plan to blow up the barrel factory. DK, Cranky and Diddy bolt to the factory, only to discover the "explosive" barrel that was supposed to destroy the whole factory is a dud. In the end Klump helps Dixie keep the coconut safe. He has her pretend to scream like he's hurting her. The apes show and and kick K. Rool, Klump, and Krusha out. Dixie knows the truth, that Klump was never after the coconut, only her friendship. Klump finds her pet lobster for her. She only knew it was Klump from the note, when he mispelled thanks "thanx". Dixie promises never to lose her pet lobster again, and even if she does, the memories will suffice. It ends with Klump sobbing in the backgroud, off-screen.
