Because of the German name, should we say that Choppah is related to Monty Mole? MontyMoleLoreMaster (talk) 00:24, November 30, 2021 (EST)
- German is not the language of origin, the Japanese name along with every other language doesn't make any form of connection so I don't agree.

- What makes it particularly Monty Mole-like? If anything, the German name is probably linking it to the Monty/Undergrunt family, considering their spiked helmets are somewhat similar to Super Mario Galaxy 2's hover pod-using Undergrunt Gunner. But like Swallow says, there doesn't seem to be any intentional dev connection. Note that Choppah's internal name is "Buzz" and the Super Mario Galaxy 2 Undergrunt Gunner is "GliderBazooka"/"MogucchiSpike" I think, so there's no similarity there. Off the top of my head, there's also the German name of Lava Bubble and Sky-Blue Spiny indicating a link to Hothead and Buzzy Beetle, respectively, and neither have affected infoboxes. - Considering the development of the SMG games, Choppahs are almost definitely reused from this, just with a more "alien" design. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 14:13, November 30, 2021 (EST)
