He appeared in the [[Club Nintendo]] comic "[[Donkey Kong in: Banana Day 24]]". Although he is never given a name in the comic, his appearance and some of his traits and statements heavily imply that he is a caricature of the actual politician.

 Compared to the President, Kohl takes a back seat most of the time and does not appear as resolute as his associate. Yet he is very frightened of the climate change, however especially of personal consequences such as paying heating costs and getting in trouble with his wife who has booked a vacation to the Caribbean and does not want to put on ski clothes there.
