Cloaker is a boss in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. A high-ranking member of the Smithy Gang, he is encountered within Smithy Factory, near the last bosses fought in the game. He is fought twice, consecutively, in the course of one battle. He is fought once alongside his partner, Domino, prior to being fought again immediately after atop his giant pet snake, Earth Link.

Cloaker is a shield-and-scimitar-wielding, high-ranking member of the Smithy Gang. He is also the partner-in-crime of Domino. Cloaker resides in Smithy's Factory with his gigantic pet snake, Earth Link. Like Domino, his design has heavy influence in depictions of ancient Middle Eastern culture: he wears a fez, wields a scimitar and round decorated shield, and is overall shaped like an ancient bottle, with his fez resembling the stopper. This also likely relates to his use of a cobra.
While exploring the factory, Mario and his party unexpectedly encounter Domino and Cloaker after falling into a hole. Cloaker becomes thrilled they have fallen into their trap, and challenges them to a duel, as they quickly prove themselves to be formidable opponents. Domino and Cloaker appear to offset the respective weaknesses and strengths of the other - Domino is strong at magic attacks while being physically weak, whereas Cloaker possesses high physical attack and defense while having no use of magic. Upon Domino's defeat, Cloaker retreats and fuses with his pet snake, Earth Link. This effort, too, is futile, resulting in the quick and simultaneous defeat of them both. With the group now defeated, Mario and his party are able to progress.

During the events of Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, Mario and his party encountered the pair of villains in Smithy's Factory. Cloaker and Domino challenged the heroes to a battle and the duo proved to be formidable opponents. However, the key to their strength rested in their ability to fight as a team. As a pair, the two could offset each other's weaknesses. Domino was strong at magic attacks but physically weak, while Cloaker had high physical attack and defense but could not wield (or withstand) magic. Thus, Mario and his party focused their attacks on one of them. With one villain gone, the other would recognize his own weaknesses and retreat. If Domino was defeated first, Cloaker would be forced to retreat to his pet snake, Earth Link. Master and pet electronically fused together, hoping their combined powers would be enough to defeat Mario. Ultimately, the effort was futile and both Cloaker and Earth Link were defeated by Mario and his allies. br
Cloaker wields both a shield and scimitar. Much like Domino, his design appears to feature depictions of Middle Eastern culture. He dons a fez in addition to the purple and yellow striped suit of a jester's. Additionally, Cloaker himself resembles the shape of a bottle, with his fez serving as the cork or stopper - this is all the more relevant regarding his use of a cobra in the second phase of this battle.
