At the start of the level, there is a seesaw above a pit, followed by a platform with two blue [[Stump|posts]] and an [[Egg-Plant]]. Further ahead, there is series of seesaws and [[Item Balloon]]s that drop missiles, [[Needlenose]]s and coins. There are also platforms with [[Koopa Troopa]]s whose shells can be thrown under tight spaces to collect items. Afterwards, there is an area where Light-Blue Yoshi has to adjust a pair of red posts so he can overcome a high ledge, on top of which there is a [[Whirly Gate]] that leads him into a [[Jackhammer Yoshi]] course. Here, the Yoshi must drill through a series of stone blocks as he descends an underground tunnel, after which he is transported out onto a grassy field right before a [[Checkpoint Ring]].
