As seen in a few trailers, the Halberd stage takes place on a battlefield, comparable in design to Dream Land or Smashville. However, it eventually lands on the Halberd itself, and a standard battle takes place here. However, not much else is known about the stage, at this point.

The stage continues to be a Battlefield-stage, however, the background has an added gimmick. A double-barreled battery is in the background, which also has an extended robot arm on its side. It will occasionally shoot ray beams, missiles, and even attack with its hand. This causes severe problems for the fighters. Players must use strategy to make the weapons hit their opponents.

The Halberd also appears in the "Subspace Emissary" story of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. There, it is being piloted by Ancient Minister and the Subspace Army, who attempt to destroy "This World", and pull it into Subspace.
