The '''Fire Burst''' is an item in ''[[Super Paper Mario]]'' that replaces the [[Fire Flower]] from ''[[Paper Mario]]'' and ''[[Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door]]''. When used, the player must shake the [[Wii#Wii Remote|Wii Remote]] up and down in a sideways position to fill the meter as much as possible to deal damage to enemies on the screen. One point of damage is done to enemies for each section on the meter that is filled up. It is the only ingredient needed to make [[Spicy Soup]] in this game.
