In ''[[The Super Mario Bros. Movie]]'', [[Mario]] grabs a [[Mini Mushroom]] from a [[? Block]] in the Jungle Kingdom arena during his battle with [[Donkey Kong]], transforming him into Mini Mario. Mario avoids Donkey Kong's punches and stomps, but is soon grabbed by him. Donkey Kong finger-flicks Mario, causing him to take damage and revert to his normal size upon hitting the gate. After [[Bowser]] is defeated, [[Princess Peach|Peach]] feeds him a Mini Mushroom, transforming him into Mini Bowser.
