Wall Jumping up Waterfalls: Difference between revisions

In order to access the area where the [[Power Star]] is found, the player first needs to grab a [[Green Shell]] or the [[Gold Shell]], depending on the mission. Hidden in a nook on the land to the right of the large waterfall is a [[Treasure Chest]] that the player has to break open using the shell, which will reveal a [[Launch Star]]. The Launch Star will send [[Mario]] to a new planet with many waterfalls. The player has to lure a nearby [[Cataquack]] over to a [[? Coin]] placed up high, and touching the coin will cause an [[Ice Flower]] to appear. Using the power-up, Mario can [[Wall Jump]] up the waterfalls to reach the platforms higher up, using [[Sling Star]]s when necessary. At the top of the waterfalls is a snowy area with another Cataquack. While forming a trail of ice behind them, the player has to walk across the pond with the Cataquack following them over to the Power Star on the opposite side; however, large chunks of ice can destroy the player's path. If the Cataquack ends up falling in the water, it will respawn back at the beginning.
