::::::Not quite. Pink DK Jr exists purely as a Player 2 character in multiplayer, to differentiate from the regular brown DK Jr, who would be Player 1. Pink-haired Link is just Link's in-game appearance: ALTTP has no multiplayer mode, so no second Link with alternate colors is necessary. I presume Link having pink hair instead of blonde has something to do with color limitations in the palette regarding early SNES titles, as ''[[Super Mario World]]'' also has some enemies with weird colorations.<br>Keeping Pink DK Jr split is more comparable to hypothetically splitting the green, blue and yellow Marios from [[Mario Bros.
