Unlike most item stores in other ''[[Mario Party (series)|Mario Party]]'' games, Junk does not sell items needed to move forward or attack other players, as it is available only in single-player mode. If the player enters the store while not on a specific mission, Paratroopa informs the player that the store has not yet opened. It has two notable uses during the game: during [[Nerd Force V]], the player needs to buy a [[Toad Force V Figure]] to be allowed entry into the [[TFV Fan Club]], and during [[Bestest Buds]], the player must choose what is the best gift for [[Bowser]] between a [[Bracelet]], a [[Necklace (Mario Party Advance)|Necklace]], and a [[Ring (Mario Party Advance)|Ring]].
