Super nitpicky, but someone just made a redirect for [[❤]], so I was wondering if the manual's usage of the heart was skinny and pointy or fat and round. [[User:Doc von Schmeltwick|Doc von Schmeltwick]] ([[User talk:Doc von Schmeltwick|talk]]) 03:38, 5 November 2017 (EST)

:[https://cdn02.nintendo-europe.com/media/downloads/games_8/emanuals/nintendo_8/Manual_Nintendo64_YoshisStory_EN.pdf The manual] appears to use a shorter heart that looks more like ❤. However, the manual PDF uses an image instead of the Unicode character, so there is no way to no for sure, but it definitely looks like the ❤ (U+2764) instead of the ♥ (U+2665). --{{User:Supermariofan67/sig}} 12:20, 27 December 2017 (EST)

::I like neither. It would be easier to just use [[heart]] and then use the [[mediawiki.org:Help:Magic words|magic word]] <code><nowiki>{{DISPLAYTITLE:♥}}</nowiki></code> to change the title, like on [[e-Reader]] (MediaWiki always capitalizes the first character in an article title, so that's why it is done). --{{User:Wildgoosespeeder/sig}} 19:41, 3 January 2018 (EST)

Comparing the two variants aesthetically to determine which one to use for the article's name isn't what should be done as these both look differently across different platforms. See these Emojipedia pages: [https://emojipedia.org/black-heart-suit/ ♥️ Black Heart Suit] (current) and [https://emojipedia.org/heavy-black-heart/ ❤️ Heavy Black Heart] (redirect).<br>

Regarding the manual, from what I can see is that those very much use a Unicode character, not an image, and that this article's name uses the one in the manual. The current article name and redirects are thus good as they are now. {{User:Lakituthequick/sig}} 16:00, 4 January 2018 (UTC)

:I'm considering typablility of the subject when linking from elsewhere. On a standard QWERTY keyboard with number pad in numlock mode, best you can do is Alt+3, and not many people know about {{wp|alt code}}s 0-255. [[Heart]] is immediately understandable and typable. --{{User:Wildgoosespeeder/sig}} 14:35, 5 January 2018 (EST)
