it works with all walls with Yoshi. sometimes the shell will bounce on the insides of the wall, sometimes spin quickly and then explode. Easiest to do with yoshi though. Another thing to do is on chocolate isle, the one underneath the castle. where there are the spinning ["] blocks. get Yoshi, eat the ! switch, stand next to a ["]box (easiest on the ground) and then spit it out. If standing closest to it, it should distort the graphics to see almost double. if not, you will step on the ! switch.
