After a 7-year hiatus, Baby Bowser appears in ''[[Yoshi's New Island]]'' as one of the game's main antagonists (alongside Kamek). In this game, he plans to turn [[Egg Island]] into his vacation home, so the Yoshis, as well as adventuring to rescue Baby Luigi, go out to stop Baby Bowser's plan. At the end, the scenario is similar to the original ''Yoshi's Island''. He is once again awaken from his slumber, only to crush and kick Kamek out. He soon notices the "familar green donkey" and proceeds to try and ride Yoshi again.  

====''Yoshi's Woolly World''====

Baby Bowser is the final boss in ''[[Yoshi's Woolly World]]''. Baby Bowser is seen waiting for [[Kamek]]. Then, [[Yoshi]] and [[Red Yoshi]] appear and Baby Bowser then starts the battle with him. After he gets defeated, Kamek uses the power of the Wonder Wool to make him grow in size, transforming him into Mega Baby Bowser. The Yoshis successfully defeat Mega Baby Bowser and the Wonder Wool releases, causing him to turn back to normal. After all the Yoshis are turned back to normal, Baby Bowser is then taken away by Kamek, He is last seen near a moon with Kamek carrying him. [[Poochy]] pops out of the moon, causing Kamek to get shocked and drop Baby Bowser. He is also the only baby in the ''Yoshi'' series that appears in the game.

The first battle with him has him climbing on the curtains, breathing fire, and moving between the path and background, Kamek can also make Baby Bowser grow for a short time using his wand. When he is larger, Baby Bowser can slam the ground to release lava. In his Mega Baby Bowser form, he can slam his hand onto the ground to crush Yoshi, stamp his feet to create lava, breathe a large amount of fire and destroy parts of the Castle tower.
