Trivia
- It is likely that this move is named after the famous "Hammertime" saying used in MC Hammer's song "U Can't Touch This".
- On the official website for Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, the battle system tutorial's explanation for hammer techniques is labeled "Hammer Time!". However, this is probably a reference to the aforementioned phrase rather than the (somewhat obscure) Super Mario RPG move.
