It was the summer of 2009. I had just started using the Nintendo Channel on my Wii. I was watching all the Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story previews. Naturally, I wanted to buy the game. I needed to find out if the game had multiple save slots. So I googled it, and was led to this site. | |||
While I didn't get the answer I was looking for, I kept returning to the site and reading. Reading about stuff. I've always been a fan of Mario (less so today). In early 2010 (sometime around New Year's), I joined. I became a typical n00b, not caring about editing and spamming my userpage. I was ''really'' immature. But I started to edit more and eventually I edited quite a bit (more than I should have, to be honest.) Before I quit, I was one of the top 50 contributors to the site, according to the contribution score page. | |||
I | Around late may of 2010 I joined the forums. That's where everything went downhill. I was a total douche on the boards. I was immature, noobish, and just a total dick. I got banned for a month; yet I continued to be a dick. I stopped editing the wiki around July and only used the forums. Naturally, no one really liked me as I was a big douche. But I was young and an idiot so I didn't realize. I remember there being a huge thread on myself in a forum section I couldn't access at the time. When I read it, I was confused. Now I'm not. The community didn't like me because of first impressions. I'll always remember that in real life. First impressions are huge. I was immature and a dick, and it hurt my reputation. | ||
I became a big mafia player. I logged into my friend's account in December 2010 and used his account to cheat in the mafia game. I was banned. It was totally the wrong thing to do. I got extremely upset, spammed and trolled and quit. I didn't want to edit the wiki anymore. I was done. | |||
It's almost two years now, and I'm a very different person. I'm 15 years old. I was a dumb 12-year-old when I first started here. I was extremely immature and I understand everything I did was wrong. I'm not asking to go back on the forums; I don't ''want'' to, frankly. I just came back because I pulled out my N64 the other day and was playing Super Mario 64 and it reminded me of here. I will probably come here once in a while and edit or touch up with someone. | |||
