| What they were trying to say is that your signature code should be in a signature page ([[User:Superstarxalien169/sig]]), since signing with raw code goes against [[MarioWiki:Signatures|signature policy]]. After doing that, go to your [[Special:Preferences|preferences]], type <nowiki>{{User:Superstarxalien169/sig}}</nowiki> in the "New signature" field, check the "Treat signature as wikitext" checkbox and save. {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 00:05, October 13, 2020 (EDT)
